the gas project

I’m not really a sailor, but if I was (and had more money than God) I could be quite tempted with one of these by ArtofKinetik. Suddenly a Riva looks very old fashioned.

Gas are big Miyazaki fans. When we found this image we thought it was a European translation of one of his earlier films. It is, however, a French children’s story published soon after WWII. If you find a copy, well, you have my number….

… but more commonly called Oturehua, in the Maniototo. A small village – 1 pub, 1 store, 1 cafe. This is the store, which is part museum. It’s on the Otago Rail Trail, and worth a visit.

In July I climbed Mt Ventoux on a bike with a friend on a fixie. This is not a photo of that event.
